Easiest way of making restaurant style veg sizzler at home.

Elements for veg sizzler:

  • 1. Aloo tikki
  • 2. Rice
  • 3. Barbeque sauce
  • 4. Stir fried vegetables
  • 5. French Fries
  • 6. Stuffed Capsicum

1. Aloo Tikki:

Ingredients:

  • Bread crumps - 3 breads
  • Grated cheese - 2 cubes
  • Salt
  • Rice flour - 1 tbs
  • Chat masala - 1/2 tbs
  • Coriander leaves
  • Beans
  • Black pepper - 1/2 tbs
  • Carrots - 1 med
  • Boiled Potatoes - 6-7 medium sized

Procedure:

  1. Mash boiled potatoes and add all above mentioned ingredients to it
  2. Greese your hands with oil and make tikkies of desired size
  3. Roll it into bread crumps
  4. Shallow fry all aloo tikkies.

2. Rice:

Ingredients:

  • Rice - 1 cup
  • Chopped green chilly - 1
  • Jeera - 1/2 tbs
  • Salt
  • Onion - 1 med
  • Ghee - 2tbs
  • Water - 3 cups

Procedure:

  1. Soak 1 cup rice in water for atleast 30 minutes
  2. Take 1 cup rice and add 3 cups water into it
  3. Take a tadka pan and add ghee, jeera, chilly and onions into it
  4. Pour tadka into rice and add salt
  5. Place it into oven for 15 minutes

3. Barbeque Sauce:

Ingredients:

  • Vinegar 1/4th cup
  • Tamarind (imli) 1/2 tbs
  • Red chilly powder 1tbs
  • Soya sauce 1/2 tbs
  • Bay leaves 2
  • Jeera powder 1/2tbs
  • Water 1/2 cup
  • Corn flour slurry 1 tbs
  • Jaggery 1/2 cup
  • Tomato sauce 1-3 tbs

Procedure:

  1. Add Jaggery, tamaride, bay leaves, jeera powder, red chilly powder, tomato sauce, water, vinegar and soya sauce and let the mixture come to a boil
  2. After that add corn flour slurry and boil the sauce till it gets little thicker

4. Stir Fried vegetables:

Ingredients:

  • Salt
  • Carrots 1 cup
  • Cauliflower 1 cup
  • Sugar a pinch
  • Butter 2 tbs
  • Black pepper
  • Onions 1 med
  • Beans 1 cup
  • Green chilly 1-2
  • Ginger garlic paste 1tbs

Procedure:

  1. Melt the butter and add onions and green chillies into it and stir fry
  2. Add all veggies and spices and simmer for 5-7 minutes
  3. Do not over cook veggies
