Raw Banana Kofta Curry | Traditional Bengali Recipe

Raw bananas are healthy and regylates bowl movement, blood pressure and is a source of iron. However, it has it's limitations taste-wise. This raw banana kofta curry is a unique Bong dish that combines it with various elements like voconut, tomatoes, potatoes and a delicte mix of Bengali spices that blend together to create a mouthwatering dish. Ingredients:

  • Chopped tomato - 1 large
  • Chopped ginger - 1.5 tbsp
  • Diced potato - 1 large potato
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Potao - 1 small
  • Grated ginger - 1 tbsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/4 tsp
  • wholw green chilli - 2 pcs
  • Mustard oil - 1/4 th cup
  • Raw banana - 2 pcs
  • Salt as per taste
  • Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp

Whole garam masala :

  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • Ghee - 1/2 tsp
  • 2 cardamoms
  • 1/2 inch cinamon sticks
  • 3 cloves
  • 2 bay leaves
