A royal touch to the veggie laden dal which is served on special occasions. Seasonal winter veggies are sauteed and mixed with roasted and boiled moong dal and laced with shahi spices and dry fruits to create this tasty and flavour-packed dal. Happy cooking!
- Sugar - 1.5 tbsp
- 4 cloves
- Red chilli powder - 1/4 th tsp
- Cauliflower(Cut into small florets)- 1 medium size bowl
- Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Ingredients -
- 3 cardamoms
- Cashewnuts - 20 gms
- Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
- Bhaja masala - 1.5 tsp
- Grated ginger - 1 tsp
- Garam masala powder - 1/4th tsp
- Moong dal - 150 gms
- Bay leaves - 2
- Carrot (Cut into small pieces - 1 small bowl)
- Beans (cut into small pieces)- 1 small bowl
- Salt as per taste
- Refined oil - 2 tbsp
- Green peas - 1 small bowl
- Whole garam masala
- Kishmish - 20 gms
- 1 inch cinamon stick
- Dry red chilli - 2
- Ghee - 1/2 tsp
