Recipe for Pineapple halwa or Pineapple Sheera:
INGREDIENTS:
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tbs
- Kesar/Saffron - 1/2 tsp (Soaked in milk)
- Cashew nuts - 1 tbs
- Ghee - 1/4th cup
- Raisins - 1 tbs
- Chopped Pineapples - 2 cup
- Milk - 2 cups
- Chopped Pistachios and Almonds
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Semolina/Sooji - 1cup
- PROCEDURE
- Roast semolina/sooji for 5 minutes on mediun flame
- Take 1 cup ghee and fry cashew and raisins. Keep it aside
- Boil some water and add chopped pineapples into it and boil pineapples till it becomes little soft
- Add milk into it
- Add kesar and roasted semolina into it
- Stir continuously and add sugar into it
- Stir till sugar melts and halva holds its shape
- Add chopped dryfruits and Its ready to serve
