Pineapple halwa | Pineapple Sheera

Recipe for Pineapple halwa or Pineapple Sheera:

INGREDIENTS:

  • Cardamom powder - 1/2 tbs
  • Kesar/Saffron - 1/2 tsp (Soaked in milk)
  • Cashew nuts - 1 tbs
  • Ghee - 1/4th cup
  • Raisins - 1 tbs
  • Chopped Pineapples - 2 cup
  • Milk - 2 cups
  • Chopped Pistachios and Almonds
  • Sugar - 1 cup
  • Semolina/Sooji - 1cup

  1. PROCEDURE
  2. Roast semolina/sooji for 5 minutes on mediun flame
  3. Take 1 cup ghee and fry cashew and raisins. Keep it aside
  4. Boil some water and add chopped pineapples into it and boil pineapples till it becomes little soft
  5. Add milk into it
  6. Add kesar and roasted semolina into it
  7. Stir continuously and add sugar into it
  8. Stir till sugar melts and halva holds its shape
  9. Add chopped dryfruits and Its ready to serve
