Concoction. Maan kochu is a sub-terrain root and has a very significant amount of dietary fiber and carbohydrates, as well as high levels of vitamin A, C, E, vitamin B6, and folate. There is magnesium, iron, zinc, phosphorous, potassium, manganese, and copper in it. This is best had in raw form infused with coconut and mustard and served with hot steamed rice. A mist-try for all!
Ingredients:
- Garlic cloves - 5-6
- Sugar - 2 tbsp
- Grated coconut - 1/2 cup
- Handful of fresh coriander leaves
- 5-6 Whole green chilli
- Mustard Seeds- 2 tbsp
- Mustard Oil - 2 tbsp
- Maan kochu/ Taro root- 100 gms
