Amritsari Fish Fry

ngredients:

  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp kashmiri Red chilli powder
  • 250 gms Basa Fish Fillet cut into strips

Marination Ingredients:

  • 1 beaten egg
  • Oil to deep fry
  • 1/2 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp Carrom seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Curd
  • 1/4th tsp black pepper powder
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4th tsp turmeric power
  • 1/2 Cup Bengal Gram Flour
  • 1 tsp kashmiri Red chilli
  • 2 tbsp rice flour

Method:

  1. Add kashmiri Red chilli powder, salt and lemon juice to the fish pieces and rub the Ingredients well. Refrigirate for 20 mins
  2. Take out the fish, add all marination Ingredients and rub it in nicely with hands. Refrigirate for 20 mins again.
  3. Take out the marinated fish. Heat oil, put in the fish pieces one by one, and deep fry them till golden brown.
  4. Remove, sprinkle chaat masala, and serve with red chilli sauce, tomato sauce or mint chutney.
