Mohanthal | Perfect Mohanthal with minimum ghee

Ingredients:
- Dryfruits of choice
- Water – 1 cup
- Ghee – 5tbs
- Besan (gram flour) 250 grams
- Cardamom and javantri powder – ½ tbs
- Malai (fresh cream) 2tbs
- Milk – 4tbs
- Sugar – 3/4th cup
Procedure:
- Add 1tbs ghee and 2tbs milk in 250 grams gram flour (besan), combine everything well
- Strain the flour
- Heat 4 tbs ghee and add strained flour to it
- Stir continuously and add 2 tbs malai(fresh cream) into it
- Stir till it changes color to light brown
- Turn off the flame and keep it aside
- Make sugar syrup (not too thick), add it to mohanthal mixture
- Add dryfruits, cardamom , janvantri powder and 2 tbs milk into it
- Mix well and add the mixture to a plate (first greese the plate with ghee)
- Finally garnish with dryfruits and some rose petals and let it cool down
- Cut into square pieces
