Calamansi Bars Recipe | Our version of lemon bars | How To Make Calamansi Bars | Calamansi Squares
Ingredients:
Crust:
- 1 cup butter, softened
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 2 cups all purpose flour
Filling:
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ tsp calamansi zest
- 1 can (300mL) condensed milk
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour
- 2 egg yolks
- ⅓ cup calamansi juice
- 3 whole eggs
*Bake in a preheated oven at 170C for 25-30 minutes
*Cool completely and chill for an hour to set
*Finish with dusting of powdered sugar
*You can double the amount of filling or use half recipe of the dough if you like thicker filling. I made these measurements to have an almost equal thickness of filling to crust so it won't be too sweet and too tangy
