- 1 ¼ cake flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 5 yolks
- ⅓ cup milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 5 egg whites
- ½ tsp cream of tartar
- ⅓ cup sugar
SYRUP:
- ¼ cup sugar
- ½ cup fresh milk or evap
WHIPPED CREAM:
- 2 cups whipping cream (sweetened)
- 1 tsp vanilla
*Fresh strawberries and canned strawberry pie filling (for filling and topping)
*Best served chilled
