How to make: Cream Cheese Frosting for my carrot cake - foolproof recipe

Hi! This is the second part of my carrot cake tutorial - we're making cream cheese frosting.

For the cream cheese frosting:

  • 200g cream cheese such as Philadelphia,
  • 200g icing sugar.
  • 100g butter,

Tips: both your butter and cheese need to be room temperature (I can't stress the importance of this enough!) You can make this recipe stiffer by adding twice as much icing sugar (powdered or confectioners sugar) and more butter.
