Chocolate Cake With Chocolate Buttercream Frosting Recipe by Full kitchen

INGREDIENTS FOR THE CHOCOLATE CAKE:

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1- 3/4 Cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup cocoa powder (I use Hershey's)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 2 cup sugar

Method:

  1. Heat oven to 350F (176 C ).
  2. Grease and flour two 9 - inch round pans
  3. shift the dry ingredients
  4. Beat eggs, oil, sugar, milk, Vanilla extract together.
  5. Stir in boiling water( batter will be thin)
  6. pour into pans.
  7. Bake for 30 to 35 mins.
  8. Cool 10 mins.; remove from pans to wire rack.cool completely before frosting.

Chocolate Buttercream Frosting:

Cream 1 Cup softened butter with a beater add 1/2 cup cocoa powder and 3- 1/2 cup sugar slowly while beating along with 1/2 cup milk .add 2 tbsp Nutella ( optional ) .if the frosting is too thick add 2 to 3 tbsp more milk or if it is too thin add 1/2 cup sugar.
