Cassava cake is a traditional delicacy in the Philippines. It is made from grated fresh cassava, coconut milk, egg, butter and sugar. Kakanin like Cassava cake is always good to be served with coffee that every Filipino enjoys.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1kg freshly grated cassava
  • 1/2 cup coconutmilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup water

Creamy topping:

  • 1 can (390g) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup pure coconut milk
  • 4 large eggs

Garnish:

  • Grated cheese or Macapuno
