CAKE POP RECIPE:

  • 24 OZ White or Chocolate Bark, white or chocolate Chips or candy melts
  • 50 lollipop sticks
  • 1 (16 OZ) can of Chocolate Frosting ( use your favorite frosting flavor)
  • Sprinkles (any kind you like)
  • 1 (16.25 OZ) box of White Cake Mix ( use your favorite flavor)
  1. Bake cake in a 13" by 9" pan according to box directions. Cool Completely.
  2. Crumble cooled cake into a large mixing bowl. Add frosting to crumbled cake. Using paddle attachment, mix cake & frosting together.
  3. Roll cake/frosting mixture into 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet, cover with plastic wrap & refrigerate/freezer for 1 hour (more or less time would be fine).
  4. Melt chocolate in microwave or double boiler. Make sure not to get water near your chocolate it using a double boiler.
  5. Dip one end of lollipop sticks, about 1/2-inch, into melted chocolate, Immediately, insert stick into the middle of each 1-inch cake balls. Return to refrigerator/freezer, covered, for another hour.
  6. Roll each cake ball into melted chocolate. Immediately, add sprinkles using a spoon or finger tips.
  7. Refrigerate CAKE POPS for 20-30 minute before serving.
