This is a traditional Indian veggie- chichinga or snake gourd sauteed with a unique tempering. Goes well with steamed rice and dal. A must try for all connoisseurs of Bengali food. Please like and share this recipe!

Ingredients:

  • Chopped chichinga - 500 gms
  • Urad dal - 1 tsp
  • Grated coconut - 3-4 tbsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Dry red chilli - 2
  • Salt as per taste
  • Mustard oil - 2 tbsp
  • Curry leaves - 15-20
  • Chana dal - 1 tsp
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
