200 gms Mushrooms cut into thin slices
2 tbsp mozarella cheese grated
2 green chillies finely chopped
6-7 Cloves of garlic finely chopped
1 medium sized onion finely chopped
1 tbsp cooking (unsalted) butter
1/2 tsp black pepper powder
1/2 tsp chilli flakes
1/2 tsp mixed herbs
Salt to taste
- Melt butter in a pan and drop in garlic. Let it turn pink then drop in green chillies. Saute for half a min and add onions. Cook till golden brown.
- Add mushrooms and salt, cook covered on low flame for 2-3 mins. Remove cover, turn flame to high, and once mushrooms are almost dry, add black pepper, chilli flakes and mixed herbs. Mix well, cook till completely dry then add cheese. Sauté stirring continuously till cheese melts and is completely mixed with mushrooms. Turn off flame, serve either as spread on toasted bread, or spread on bread and make Sandwich.
