Dahi Papdi chaat is one of the popular street food of northern India. It is very easy to make at home. You need very basic ingredients to make this mouthwatering chaat. All you need is fresh curd, papdis which can be made very easily at home or you can buy them from the market, two chatnis, one is mint coriander chutney and the other one is tamarind chutney. You need boiled potatoes and chickpeas (you can alternatively use moong dal sprouts, chopped onion, and some tomatoes alternatively). Spices like: red chili powder, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, black salt and plain salt can be added as per your own choice. Sugar is added to make curd sweet. For garnish, you can use broken papdis, fresh coriander leaves, and some pomegranate arils. Sev can also be added for extra crunch!
Ingredients:
Papdi : 10-15
- Sugar - 1 tbsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Chaat Masala - 1 tsp
- Boiled Potatoes - 2
- Roasted Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Boiled Chickpeas - 1/4 cup
- Red Chili powder - 1/2 tsp
- Black Salt - 1tsp
- Fresh curd - 1 cup

- Pomegranate seeds
- Broken papdis
