BRANDY or BOURBON GLAZED CARROTS...your choice!! Learn how fast, easy & delicious this lovely colored root vegetable is to prepare!! You'll be glad you did!! A perfect side dish that's always a HIT!!..
BRANDY or BOURBON GLAZED CARROTS:
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons Brandy or Bourbon (May substitute with water)
- 1 LB. Fresh Carrots, ends cut off, peeled, rinsed & sliced
- 1/2 cup water
- !/4 teaspoons kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- In a 12-inch skillet, over medium heat, add carrots & water. Bring to a boil. Cover skillet with tight fitting lid. Cook 15 minutes.
- Remove lid. Add butter, sugar, salt & Brandy or Bourbon. Stir. Cook an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat. Serve within 10 minutes.
