FAMOUS FUDGE | CHOCOLATE Style | Excellent DIY Edible Gift

Carnation's FAMOUS FUDGE...fast and easy to make, yet a perfect homemade edible gift for the FUDGE LOVERS!! Recipe below...

Carnation's FAMOUS FUDGE:

• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 cups miniature marshmallows
• 2/3 cup Nestle Carnation (from the can) Evaporated Milk
• 2 Tablespoons butter, softened
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1-1/2 cups (9 ounces) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
• 1-1/2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup pecans or walnuts (optional)

1. Line a 8-inch square baking dish with foil. Set aside.
2. Combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter, and salt in a medium heavy-duty saucepan. Bring to a full rolling boil over medium heat, stir constantly. Boil, stirring constantly for 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat.
3. Immediately stir in marshmallows, morsels, nut, and vanilla. Stir vigorously for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted.
4. Pour into prepare pan. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
5. Lift from pan, remove foil.Cut into desired pieces.
6. Store in airtight container in refrigerator.
