Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp roasted Cumin powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 heaped tsp rice flour
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 2 tsp + 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 medium sized potatoes boiled, Peeled and grated
  • 1/2 medium sized raw Potato Peeled and grated
  • Paste of 3 green chillies
  • 1 medium sized onion finely chopped
  • 1 Cup Sago Soaked for 4-5 hrs, then strained and squeezed
  • 1 tsp kashmiri Red chilli powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2-3 tbsp finely chopped fresh green coriander
  • 2 tbsp Curd

Method:

  1. Mix all Ingredients together except oil and form a soft dough. Add 2 tsp oil to this dough so it doesn’t stick on hands.
  2. Make 10 equal balls of this dough and keep aside. Take 2 polybags, Apply oil on one side of both polybags. Place on ball on the polybag, cover with oil side of the other polybag and with hands, flatten it out like a Chapati.
  3. With Brush, oil a skillet and heat it. Remove upper polybag, slowly transfer the flattend Sago round on your hand from the bottom polybag and transfer to the oiled skillet.
  4. Cook covered on medium flame for 3-4 mins or till bottom portion is golden brown, then Brush oil on top portion and turn upside down to cook the other side.
  5. Repeat with all the balls, serve hot with curd, or your choice of chutney.
