Dosa is a thin crepe traditionally made with ground rice and lentil batter fermented overnight. The Rava dosa is a light, crispy, delicious and nutritionally balanced avatar. It is made with a watery batter prepared with rava/suji/semolina , rice flour, maida and flavoured with onions, garlic, curry leaves, corriander, black pepper powder etc. Unlike traditional dosa, this does not require fermentation and is fried on a pan as soon as thge batter is ready. Ingredients:

  • Maida - 1/2 cup
  • Yogurt - 2 tbsp
  • sooji - 1 cup
  • Grated ginger - 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
  • Chopped onion - 1 medium onion
  • Rice flour - 1 cup
  • Chopped curry leaves - 20-25 pcs
  • Black pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander leaves - 2 tbsp
  • Chopped green chillies - 1 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Oil for frying
