This is a healthy, whole wheat based Indian flatbread that is a wholesome option for a tasty Indian breakfast or lunch. Methi leaves or fenugreek leaves are kneaded into a wheat dough and tempered with a few Indian spices- rolled out as a flatbread and served with plain yogurt, pickles and sauces. There is very little oil used to make this paratha which makes it healthy. Happy cooking!
Ingredients:
- Refined oil - 4-5 tbsp
- Wheat flour/atta - 2 cups
- Carom seeds - 1 tsp
- Methi leaves - 1 cup
- Grated ginger - 1 tsp
- Red chilli powder - 1/4 th tsp
- Salt -1/2 tsp
- Chopped green chillies - 1 tsp
