Crunchy Potato Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp Red chilli flakes
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 4 medium potatoes washed, Peeled and grated
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 large onion finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh green coriander
  • 2 cubes of cheese grated
  • 1/2 tsp paprika powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 2 tsp rice flour

Method :

  1. Pour oil into a non stick pan and turn on flame to heat it
  2. Meanwhile, mix all Ingredients together in a bowl. Put a spoonful of this batter in the oil, shape Round or square. Similarly add more batter to make 3-4 Pancakes.
  3. Let it cook on medium flame till red from underside, then turn to cook the other side
  4. Instead of putting spoonfuls, you can add half the batter in one go, spread it Round of square, and cook as above
  5. Once done, transfer to a paper towel, and once excess oil is absorbed by the paper towel, plate it out, cut if you have made a larger pancake, and serve plain, with bread, or choice of your chutney or sauce.
