These are very easy and healthy whole wheat pancakes that actually taste absolutely delicious!give it a try you will not regret it.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk(you can use regular milk with 1 tbsp white vinegar or apple cider vinegar to make your own buttermilk)
  • 1 Cup whole wheat flour

Method:

  1. In a large bowl whisk all the dry ingredients
  2. In another bowl mix the buttermilk,melted butter and egg and mix it well until fully combined
  3. Now combine the dry and wet ingredients together do not over mix it.otherwise the pancakes will be tough.
  4. preheat the griddle to 375g and grease it with butter
  5. pour the batter into the griddle with a scope
  6. cook for few minutes until you see bubbles forming on top
  7. flip it carefully and cook the other side
  8. serve with butter and maple/pancakes syrup
