Homemade FETA CHEESE DRESSING!! Delicious over crispy chilled iceberg lettuce wedges!! Simple to make!! Perfect for the FETA CHEESE lovers!! Recipe below...

FETA CHEESE DRESSING

  • Salt to season, optional
  • 1-2 tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh dill or 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 cup buttermilk or whole milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh oregano or 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 pkg. (5 oz.) Feta cheese
  • 1-2 large garlic clove(s), minced
  • 1 green onion, chopped (extra for salad topping, optional)
  1. In a medium mixing bowl whisk together buttermilk, sour cream, white wine vinegar, garlic, green onion, dill, oregano, pepper, and salt (if using).
  2. Using a fork chop feta cheese in desired chunks. Add to buttermilk mixture. Stir well.
  3. Cover and chill in the refrigerator up to 2-3 hours or overnight.
  4. Serve over wedges of iceberg lettuce or use to toss any salad.

TIPS: Store FETA CHEESE DRESSING in a mason jar or airtight container up to 4 days.
