Homemade CRISP POTATO CHIPS - How to make POTATO CHIPS recipe

CRISPY POTATO CHIPS:

  • 3-4 Russet Potatoes, peeled, rinsed and sliced thinnly into cold water
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2-3 cups vegetable oil
  1. Remove potato slices from water and pat dry on paper towels, flip each potato slice to dry other side.
  2. In a heavy sauce pan or skillet, heat oil, on medium heat to 370-375 degrees. Add potato slices to oil, single layer only, fry 1-2 minutes or until a light golden in color.
  3. Remove potato chips from oil to cooling rack and season with salt.
  4. Allow POTATO CHIPS to cool and air dry for 30 minutes.
  5. Serve and ENJOY!!
