Achari Aloo | Pickled Potato

"Achar" in Hindi means pickle. This potato curry has the chutputah and tanginess of a pickle. This is quite different from the generic Dum Aloo or Alur Dum that is popular across our country. Try this simple and spicy potato curry and charge your tastebuds, Happy cooking!
Ingredients:
- Vegetable Oil - 5-6 tbsp
- Grated ginger - 1/2 tsp
- Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1.5 tsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Aloo/potatoes (Boiled) - 500 gms
- Chopped coriander leaves - 1 small bowl
- Sugar - 1 tsp
Achari masala:
- Bay leaf - 1
- 1 tsp fenal seeds
- 1/4 tf tsp fenegreek seeds
- 1 tsp coriander seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
