4 RECIPES IN ONE: HEALTHIER DELI MEAT SPECIAL

Join myself and 10 Aussie food bloggers as i cook up 4 delicious, easy dishes in one fun evening.

Using the new Oliving by HANS range of deli meats, i was able to make these dishes both healthier and tastier, thanks to some of the saturated fat being replaced by Greek olive oil.

Recipes:

Antipasto platter:

  • 250 Grams of Provolone Mild Dolce cheese
  • 200 Grams - 3 packets of Oliving by Hans Sliced Naturally Smoked Ham 100g
  • 250 Grams of pitted Kalamata olives
  • 200 Grams – 3 packets of Oliving by Hans Sliced Chicken Breast 100g
  • 250 Grams of Marinated Artichokes
  • 200 Grams – 3 packets of Oliving by Hans Sliced Turkey Breast 100g
  • 200 Grams – 3 packets of Oliving by Hans Sliced Hungarian Salami 100g
  • Jar chargrilled mushrooms
  • 250 Grams of pitted green olives
  • 250 Grams of Mozzarella cheese
  • 1800 Grams of Garlic bread
  • 300 Grams of semi sun-dried tomatoes

Gissini Breadsticks with Honey Mustard & Turkey:

  • 6 Tablespoons of mustard
  • 30 Breadsticks
  • 300 Grams of Oliving by Hans Turkey 300g
  • ½ Cup of mayonnaise
  • 4 Tablespoons of honey

Honey Steak Sauce Cocktail Franks:

  • ½ Cup of honey
  • 1.5 Teaspoons of tabasco sauce
  • 1 Teaspoon of salt salt flakes
  • 6 Tablespoons of yellow mustard ( French’s )
  • 1/2 of a cup of worcestershire sauce
  • 3 Tablespoons of apple cider vinegar
  • Cocktail Franks
  • 2 Cups of Heinz ketchup

Mix all ingredients together. Heat & add cocktail franks. Cook for 20 minutes

Creamy Bacon Carbonara ( Serves 20 ):

  • 4 Cloves of garlic
  • 400 Grams of grated full fat cheddar cheese
  • 4 Packets of Oliving by Hans Rindless Pan-Sized Bacon 300g
  • 1 Bunch of Parsley for garnish
  • 3 x 500 gram Packets of fettuccine pasta
  • 1.2 litres of pure cream
  • Salt
  • 3 Tablespoons
  • 400 Grams of cut up button mushrooms
  • 2 Large brown onions
  • Olive oil
  • 75 Grams of unsalted butter

Method:

  1. Bring Fettuccine to boil & add 3 tablespoons of chicken salt
  2. Once well cooked, remove the fettuccine from boil & strain
  3. Pour fettuccine into a large saucepan & fill with tap water to cool
  4. Put crushed garlic with a splash of olive oil into a hot frypan & cook for 1-2 minutes or until starting to brown
  5. Add chopped onion & cut up bacon with a splash of oil & cook well
  6. Add sliced mushrooms & butter into frypan
  7. Drain fettuccine & add to frypan
  8. Mix ingredients until heated
  9. Add grated cheese
  10. Add cream
