Let's BAKE! | Cake Fiesta Manila 2019 Tour + Live Demo
Hi everyone! Last year I was invited by Chef Valeri and Chef Christina from Queen of Hearts Couture Cakes to give a demo during the first ever Cake Fiesta here in Manila last November 2019.
I really enjoyed sharing my twist on the classic cheesecake. It was a fun and memorable experience with an amazing crowd. Thank you so much for all participants who gave their time and attention to watch and listen to my demo. I really appreciate it! I filmed it using my phone and now I thought of sharing it here on the channel for those who weren't able to visit during cake fiesta last year.
It was really sad when the announcement that Cake Fiesta 2020 will be postponed due to the pandemic, but it is really indeed important to prioritize our safety. It was rescheduled November of 2021. For the crust:
- 1/2 cup melted butter, unsalted
- 1/4 cup roasted desiccated coconut
- 1 cup crushed graham
For the cheesecake batter:
- 1 bar (250g) cream cheese
- 1tsp vanilla
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all purpose cream
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup langka
- Few drops yellow gel food color (optional)
- Few drops langka flavor (optional)
- Few drops of ube flavocol (optional)
- 1/4 cup ube halaya
- 1/2 cup macapuno
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1/2 cup sweetened red monggo beans
