SPICY TURKEY LEGS:

  • 1teaspoon celery salt
  • 6 turkey drumsticks (3/4 lbs. each)
  • 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1/3 cup canola oil ( vegetable or olive will do)
  • 3/4 cup Frank's Hot Sauce or your choice of HOT SAUCE
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 2 teaspoons ground mustard
  • 1-2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  1. Divide drumsticks between two large (gallon size) resealable bags. In a bowl, whisk the remaining ingredients until blended. Add marinade to drumsticks, dividing evenly between bags. Seal bags and turn to coat. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Turning whenever you think about it!!
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Remove drumsticks from marinade to a foil-lined 15" by 10" by 1" baking pan; discard marinade in bag.
  3. Bake, covered, 45 minutes. Bake an additional 45-60 minutes longer or until a thermometer inserted in thickest portion reads 175 degrees F., basting every 10 minutes.
