Korma refers to a style of cooking originating from the Indian subcontinent where-in veggies or any kind of meat/chicken/fish is marinated or braised in yogurt and then cooked with mild spices, onions and milk/cream which amalgamates into a glazed creamy gravy.
Ingredients:
- Milk - 1 cup (150 ml)
- Ghee/ clarified butter - 1 tbsp
- Almond paste - 10-12 pcs
- Garam masala powder - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Cooking oil - 1/4 th cup
- Red chilli powder - 1 tsp
- Cumin powder - 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste - 1 and 1/2 tsp
- Salt as per taste
- Chicken - 500 gms
- Onion paste - 2 tbsp
- Yogurt - 2 tbsp
- Coriander powder - 1 tsp
- Chopped onions - 2 large
- Whole green chillies - 5-6
