Sopas is a Filipino macaroni soup made with elbow macaroni but I used spiral (it doesn't really matter which shape you gonna use.) put vegestable of your choice and normally chicken meat. in a creamy broth with evaporated milk. It is regarded as as a comfort food in the Philippines and is typically eaten during breakfast and cold weather.
Chicken Sopas
Ingredients:
- 1 can of evaporated milk
- 4 cloves garlic
- 500g Chicken breast fillet
- 2L water (you may need to add more)
- 1 med. Onion
- 500g elbow macaroni or spiral os shell shape doesn't matter
- 50g butter
- 1pc carrot (cubes)
- Black pepper to taste
- 1Chicken cube
- fish sauce to taste
- 1 small pc. ginger
