CHICKEN MARSALA...loaded with sautéed mushrooms, Marsala cooking wine, and rosemary!! Serve on a bed of rice or not!! ENJOY with family and friends or NOT!! Recipe below by clicking on SHOW MORE...
CHICKEN MARSALA:
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 Tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 Tablespoons flour
- 4-5 (about 1 Pound) Chicken Breast, boneless, skinless, and thinly sliced or pounded flat
- 3/4 cup Marsala Cooking Wine
- 2 cups Mushrooms, sliced
- Toss chicken breast in flour. Set aside.
- In a 12" skillet, over medium-heat, melt butter. Add mushrooms and sauté for 10 minutes. Transfer to dish. Set aside.
- Add flour coated chicken breast to skillet; sauté for 3-4 minutes on each side. Transfer chicken breast to serving plate. Cover with foil to keep heat.
- Transfer sautéed mushrooms back to skillet. Add Marsala cooking wine, water, and rosemary. Bring to a bubble and cook for 1 minute. Immediately pour over sautéed chicken!!
- Add fresh chopped parsley on top before serving!!
TIPS: Serve on a bed of rice (our choice) with your favorite steamed vegetable(s).
