PUTO FLAN | How to Make Leche Puto

This Puto Flan recipe is very creamy, soft and fluffy. If you’re a custard lover, you will surely love this easy snack that you can make at home with simple ingredients in just a few steps!

Ingredients:

Flan:

  • ¾ cup (190g) condensed milk
  • 5 egg yolks

Puto:

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • ½ tablespoon + 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 large egg white
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • ½ cup evaporated milk (you can add more up to 1/4 cup if the batter is too thick)

Steam flan on medium-low heat for 5 mins, pour puto batter and steam again for another 10-12 minutes. Let them cool completely before removing from the molds for the flan to set.

This recipe makes 18-20 small puto flan.
