Sambar, ginger garlic bread

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp sambar masala
  • 2 Cup all purpose flour
  • 5/6th cup warm water
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 3/4th tsp instant yeast

For layering on top:

  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • Pinch of instant yeast
  • Pinch of sugar

Method:

  1. Mix all Ingredients together except water. Now slowly add water and knead the dough. You should knead it for 8-10 mins. Cover with cling film and keep overnight or at least 4-5 hrs to ferment.
  2. Remove the cling film, spread some dry all purpose flour on a counter top or Flat utensil, take out the dough and knock it down
  3. Place parchment paper on a baking tray, shape the dough to an oval loaf on it, cover and keep aside for half an hr.
  4. Preheat oven to 200°C for 10 mins, meanwhile, prepare the top later. For that, mix together rice flour, sugar, salt, Olive oil and yeast in a bowl, add water to form a thick batter, and Spread it on the loaf like a later.
  5. Place the tray in oven, bake for 25 mins and take out. Cut once cool.
