MONKEY BREAD...fun to make yet scrumptious to tear apart and eat!! A favorite for all!! If you're a cinnamon roll lover you're going to love this Monkey Bread recipe...
MONKEY BREAD
Grease 10-inch tube pan. Set aside.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- 3 tubes (10 ounces each) refrigerated flaky biscuits
- 1/2 cup chopped pecan, optional
- 1/2 cup (1-stick or 8 Tablespoons) butter, melted
- 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cups granulated sugar
- 1 box (3-1/2 ounces) Cook-and-Serve butterscotch pudding mix
- In a medium mixing bowl whisk together sugar, cinnamon, pudding mix, and, if desired, pecans. Add mixture in an 8" by 8" shallow dish.
- Add melted butter in an additional 8" by 8" dish.
- Cut each biscuit into quarters. Dip several pieces into butter; place in pudding mixture and toss until well coated.
- Arrange pieces in greased prepared tube pan. Repeat until all biscuits pieces are coated. Add remaining sugar mixture on top of biscuits before baking.
- Bake until browned and slightly bubbly, 30-35 minutes. Cool in tube pan 5-10 before inverting onto a serving plate!!
