Indian bread - Bengal Gram flour and Fenugreek Leaves

Ingredients (we made it with leftover paste of besan, but the measurement is for the flour):

  • 1/2 Cup Bengal Gram flour
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 small tomato finely chopped
  • 1 bowl finely chopped fenugreek leaves
  • 2 tsp + 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 Cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 green chillies finely chopped
  • 1 tsp kashmiri Red chilli powder

Method:

  1. Mix all Ingredients except oil, and with help of water, make a soft dough. Add 2 tsp oil to knock the dough and make it pliable.
  2. Make equal sized 5 balls from this dough, roll the ball into a Round Flat bread.
  3. Heat a skillet on flame, place one Flat bread on the skillet, Apply a few drops of oil. Turn once bottom side is light brown, and Apply oil on that side too. Turn again so the side becomes golden brown, and oil is also cooked.
  4. Make other balls in similar manner, and serve hot with curd and green chutney
