Baked Beans with homemade Bread

Ingredients:
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1/2 can of baked Beans (alternately, you can soak 1/4th Cup white beans overnight, boil them with some Salt, water and tomato puree)
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 10-12 Cloves of garlic finely chopped
- 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 2-3 green chillies finely chopped
- 1 small capsicum finely chopped
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- 1 tsp mix herbs/ Oregano
Method:
- In a pan, heat oil/ butter and drop in chopped garlic. Saute till light pink, then add onion. Once they become light brown, add capsicum and green chillies
- Stir fry only for a couple of mins so that capsicum becomes slightly soft, but still remains crunchy. Add the canned beans, black pepper powder, chilli flakes, mixed herbs and salt.
- Cook for a minute or two, turn off flame, and plate out the beans. Serve hot with the choice of your bread.
