Air fried bread rolls

Ingredients:

  • 6 brown bread pieces
  • 1/2 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Mango Powder
  • 1/2" piece of ginger grated
  • 1/4th tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1 green chilli finely chopped
  • 1/3rd Cup Boiled Peas
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 medium sized onion finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp kashmiri Red chilli powder
  • 3 medium sized potatoes boiled, Peeled and cubed

Method:

  1. Heat oil in a pan, drop in Cumin Seeds. Once they stop crackling, add onions. Saute till light pink, then add green chillies. Cook till onions turn golden brown. Add grated ginger, cook for a min
  2. Mix all spices in a tsp of water except Dried Mango Powder, and add them to the onion. Let the water evaporate, then add boiled potatoes and Peas. Cook for a min, add dried Mango Powder, mix, cover and cook for a couple of mins. Remove from heat, let it cool slightly for 2-3 mins.
  3. Mash the mix with a masher or hands. Take water in a large box/vessel, dip bread slightly from both sides, Squeeze it so it doesn't Break.
  4. Put a tablespoon of mashed mix, close from all sides, and shape into a roll with firm hands. Do the same with all bread pieces.
  5. Preheat air fryer for 5 mins, place the rolls in the air fryer basket, air fry for 10 mins, turn over and air fry for 3-4 mins on the other side.
  6. The bread rolls are ready to be served with tomato sauce, snack sauce or green chutney.
