Can't make it through the hot summer months without indulging in one of these... a HOT-TIN-ROOF sundae!! Made with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, hot chocolate, and creamy marshmallow sauce smothered in salty Spanish peanuts. Top with whipped cream and maraschino cherries or not. HOT-TIN-ROOF SUNDAE:
- Whipped cream and maraschino cherries, optional
- 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
- 3 tablespoons Spanish peanuts
- 1 tablespoon milk or cream
- 2 tablespoons chocolate sauce
- 1/2 cup marshmallow creme
- Add marshmallow creme and milk/cream in a bowl. Heat over low heat in a sauce pan or microwave, stirring every 10 seconds, until smooth.
- Add two scoops vanilla ice cream in a bowl. Top one scoop of ice cream with chocolate sauce and the other scoop with marshmallow sauce. Sprinkle with Spanish peanuts
- Whipped cream and maraschino cherries are optional.
