Khajur Anjeer Rolls | Healthy Dates and Figs Rolls

Khajur Anjeer rolls are very healthy and delicious as it contains NO SUGAR. It's perfect recipe for winter and also it is very easy to make.

Ingredients:

  • Almonds 50 grams
  • Rose water 1 tbs
  • Ghee 1 tbs
  • Cardamom powder 1 tbs
  • Grated coconut 2 tbs
  • Saffron/Kesar a pinch
  • Walnuts 30 grams
  • Figs/Anjeer 250 garms
  • Dates/Khajur 200 grams
  • Poppyseeds (khaskhas) 3 tbs
  • Water 2 glasses
  • Chopped figs 30 grams
  • Cashews 50 grams

Procedure:

  1. Soak khajur and anjeer (dates and figs) for 2 hours
  2. After that make a smooth paste of khajur and anjeer
  3. Grind almonds, cashews and walnuts
  4. Add chopped figs and grated coconut to dryfruits powder
  5. Roast poppyseeds for 2 minutes and keep it aside
  6. Roast khajur and anjeer paste, add rose water, ghee, cardomom powder and kesar into it. Roast it mixture holds its shape
  7. Then transfer the mixture into butter paper or plastic and spread it evenly
  8. Add dryfruits powder in middle of khajur anjeer mixture
  9. Fold it gently and roll it evenly
  10. Place the roll in the mixture of poppyseeds and pistas and finally refrigerate for 2 hours
  11. Divide into equal parts and cut the rolls
  12. Store it in an airtight container
