Bengali Special Sweet Yogurt/Curd With Gulab Jambu
(Mesurements given is for 4 serves)
INGREDIENTS:
- Milk 1 lit
- Saffron/Kesar
- Dry fruits
- Sugar 1 cup
- Curd (regular) 1.5 tbs
- Milk powder 1.5 tbs
- Gulab Jambu
PROCEDURE:
- Add milk powder and some hot milk in a cup and wisk it well
- Add the mixture into 1 lit boiling milk
- Add sugar into the milk
- Add saffron/kesar soaked in milk
- Stir everything and let the milk boil
- After milk gets cool down add normal curd into it and mix well
- Add gulab jambu into the serving glass and pour milk on it
- Garnish it with some dryfruits of your choice
- And cover it well and keep in a warm place overnight
- Once the curd is ready place it in refrigerator for few hours
- Mishti Doi is ready to eat
