Kesar Mishti Doi With Gulab Jambu | Bengali Sweet Yogurt in new style

Bengali Special Sweet Yogurt/Curd With Gulab Jambu

(Mesurements given is for 4 serves)

INGREDIENTS:

  • Milk 1 lit
  • Saffron/Kesar
  • Dry fruits
  • Sugar 1 cup
  • Curd (regular) 1.5 tbs
  • Milk powder 1.5 tbs
  • Gulab Jambu

PROCEDURE:

  1. Add milk powder and some hot milk in a cup and wisk it well
  2. Add the mixture into 1 lit boiling milk
  3. Add sugar into the milk
  4. Add saffron/kesar soaked in milk
  5. Stir everything and let the milk boil
  6. After milk gets cool down add normal curd into it and mix well
  7. Add gulab jambu into the serving glass and pour milk on it
  8. Garnish it with some dryfruits of your choice
  9. And cover it well and keep in a warm place overnight
  10. Once the curd is ready place it in refrigerator for few hours
  11. Mishti Doi is ready to eat
