Do you still remember the friendship books of yore?
Today I would definately register as a hobby coffee. A large milk coffee, a delicious little thing and heck, the day is already a whole corner nicer.
My favorite on the coffee table: Apple Pie Bites, You must try this delicious and SUPER simple recipe!
Bubbling apple and cinnamon filling. Crunchy puff pastry. 10 minutes preparation time.
Does not that sound like the perfect coffee snack?
Best of all, I have one for you Step-by-Step Guide brought for the quick treat.
Ready? Yes? Then loooos!
1. Pour out the dough and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar
This recipe starts with you cutting a packet of puff pastry into triangles. The short side of the triangles is about as long as your apple pieces.
Finished? Very well! Now sprinkle your triangles thick with cinnamon sugar. Mhhhm!
2. Sprinkle with chopped nuts
With a few chopped nuts, your Apple Pie Bites get a decent crunch. I opted for pecans. Walnuts, hazelnuts or almonds are also perfect.
Chop the nuts and spread them evenly over the dough.
3. Roll up the apple pieces
Next, cut one or two apples into pieces and place them at the end of your dough triangles. Now you just have to roll up the Apple Pie Bites from the apple end.
Do not be afraid if the dough gets a few small holes or does not completely surround the apple. It does not matter!
4. Coat with water and bake
If your rolls look like this now, you've done everything right.
Now take some water and brush the Apple Pie Bites with it. Then you can already put them in the oven and bake at 200 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes.
Feeertig! Mhhhmmm, how it smells. I'm sure you'll love this quick treat for the coffee table!
