Super Lemon Lemon Cake – Quick recipes from my kitchen
This cake awakens childhood memories. My mom often baked him when I was little. I remember when I was about 10 years old, I baked the lemon cake with a friend. Then we made a heart out of it, decorated with colorful sprinkles and a birthday present for a friend. Oh … nice memories.
This year, for example, it was the cake for my mom's birthday. My little man has tasted the cake so delicious that he asked when grandmother finally has her birthday again. Cute, right?
The cake is wonderfully lemony, but not too sour. Simply a pleasure! The recipe results in a whole sheet. As it is a sponge cake, you simply put all the ingredients in a large bowl, stir well and then it's ready for the oven. Minimal effort – maximum enjoyment. You can enjoy the cake for a long time. Simply store in airtight cans in a cool place. So the lemon cake stays juicy and fresh for at least a week.

350 soft butter
250 g tube cane sugar
1 Msp. Vanilla powder (alt. 1 Pkg. Vanilla sugar)
grated peel of 2 organic lemons
3 TL baking powder
350 g of flour
200 g icing sugar
4 EL lemon juice
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees.
Except for the powdered sugar and lemon juice, all the ingredients are processed in a large bowl with the blender to a sponge cake.
Lay out the deep baking tray with baking paper and spread the dough on it. Now cover the dough with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the dough from the oven and allow to cool.
Now mix the icing sugar with the lemon juice and spread on the cake. The cake absorbs the glaze very much. If you like you can still distribute colorful sprinkles on it.
