15-minute gnocchi with melted tomatoes and basil, That means:
Fluffy-soft gnocchi bathed in a fruity sauce of melted tomatoes, plenty of good olive oil, onion and garlic. Serve with fresh basil, because in the summer, of course, absolutely necessary. And for those who like it decadent, there's a mountain of freshly grated Parmesan on top of that. YES, please.
This 6-Ingredient Recipe has come to provide you with a good portion of summer Soulfood. It could not be simpler and more delicious!
Do you like gnocchi? Are they an integral part of everyday kitchen life? Or maybe not been on the table forever?
I've already mentioned it once or twice: For me, the small potato dumplings are absolute after-hours heroes. Good, ready-made gnocchi are cooked in less than 5 minutes and only need to be heated briefly in boiling salt water until they float on the surface. That's why they are perfect for days when you do not feel like being in the kitchen forever. Of course we should not forget the soulfood factor. Because my expert knowledge, influenced by many gnocchi years, knows: these things make you happy!
There is a catch though. Without sauce, finished gnocchi are quite tasteless. That's why the tactic is to put water on the gnocchi and toss together a neat sauce.
And now comes the magic trick in this recipe.
While the small cherry tomatoes are crunching in olive oil, onion and garlic, the oil gets a delicious tomato-garlic flavor. Add to that the fresh basil cut in strips. If you now give the poured Gnocchi in the pan, the strength of the little things combines with the oil and the liquid of the tomatoes and conjures up a wonderfully velvety, flavorful sauce. Without sauces binder and Co. I know it, magical!
And yes, I feel like you need this recipe in your life. Please thank.
I hope you will love this recipe!
